EFM Group is a fully self-sufficient metal industry operator based in Eastern Finland. We supply components and system assemblies for both mobile machinery and the process industry. We continuously invest in development and modern equipment.
Our subsidiary KKR Steel produces component blanks from steel plates using versatile cutting methods. Thanks to our laser, plasma, and oxy-fuel cutting equipment, we can process steel plates ranging from 2 to 120 mm in thickness. Our plasma cutting machines are also equipped with 3D torch heads, allowing for beveling in the same operation.
We also offer threading and bending. With our powerful equipment, we can apply significant bending force and handle long workpieces with ease.
Welding
Whether it's serial welding of small components or the fabrication of multi-ton machine parts, we have the right solutions. We offer welding services using both robotic systems and manual techniques.
Our welding services are provided by Viimet and KKR Steel. Viimet specializes in welding high-strength steels, while KKR Steel’s welding robots enable efficient processing of large production series.
For machining needs, turn to our subsidiary Joensuun CNC-Machining. We handle both simple and complex tasks, including multi-axis machining. Viimet primarily performs final machining on its own welded parts.
Thanks to our skilled staff and state-of-the-art equipment, we can achieve tolerances down to a thousandth of a millimeter.
KKR Steel’s shot blasting line removes surface impurities before cutting or further processing.
Our in-house powder coating line allows us to deliver finished, coated products. In addition, we offer a wide range of surface treatment options through trusted subcontractors.
We provide complete module assemblies and pre-assembled structures for production when needed. Assemblies can be delivered either fully built or packaged to customer specifications.
